Launched in 2003, the CAPM® recognises individuals with a demonstrated understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology as defined in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK® Guide), the standard of project management’s good practices.

The Project Management Institute® (PMI®) sponsors a project management certification programme. The purpose and goal of this certification programme is the development, maintenance, evaluation, promotion and administration of a rigorous, examination-based, professional certification programme of the highest calibre.

The 5-day Project Management Fundamentals Course addresses the needs of people new to project management and those that are involved in projects in any capacity. The course is aligned to the Project Management Institute®’s PMBOK® (Project Management Body of Knowledge) and focuses on a structured approach to project management. The course is scheduled on request and can be run on-site at a client’s premises provided a minimum of 6 students are guaranteed. The course is case study-based, and the case study can be tailored to suit the organisation if desired.

Professional administration skills play a big role in ensuring that projects run more effectively. Our two-day course is structured as follows: Day one introduces candidates to the basics of project management, while day two will focus on the essentials necessary for project administrators to successfully support the projects they work on.
